Each of our aesthetic consultants is trained to handle our modern collection of technology, such as the Harmony XL PRO. Jennie Cameron - Clinic and Spa Director
Clinic and spa director Jennie Cameron is an experienced business leader who oversees administrative affairs and ensures optimal patient care. She and her husband, Dr. Todd Cameron started the center in 1996 where she became the Clinic Director at that time. Jennie was the proud recipient of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small business program scholarship in 2013 and the 16 weeks in the program added extensive knowledge to the business about metrics, marketing, leadership, and what it takes to create a successful, thriving small business.
Michelle Christensen - Clinic Manager
As clinic manager of Cameron Wellness and Spa, Michelle helps foster a professional, warm environment where patients feel welcome. She has been working as the clinic manager of Cameron Wellness and Spa for more than six years. She strives to use her 20 plus years of management experience to help the clinic run smoothly and create a healing, compassionate atmosphere. Michelle loves the opportunity for constant learning, as well as building relationships with patients. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor adventures and making jewelry that she sells online and at the clinic. She has known and loved the Camerons for more than 15 years and believes in their dream of holistic, individualized healthcare for everyone.
Kaeci Durfey - Spa Manager/Medical Aesthetician
Kaeci Durfey has been a Master Esthetician for 9 years and Esthetician Instructor for 5 years. She specializes in laser treatments, skincare and body contouring. She loves the beauty industry and loves taking care of clients and making them feel more confident. Kaeci joined Cameron's Wellness Center as a advanced laser specialist and is so excited to be apart of the team.
Sarah Herbert - Office Assistant
Sarah has always been interested in natural healing and is excited to be a part of Cameron Wellness Center. She delights in welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable. Sarah enjoys creating an atmosphere of caring which she has used extensively in her experience as a Flight Attendant and from working at the University Neuropsychiatric Institute. Sarah is a 250 YTT certified yoga instructor and is currently on staff as a fitness instructor at the University of Utah. She taught yoga to the U of U Alpine Skiing Team and the Salt Lake City Fire Department. She has also been a girl's youth basketball coach for many years. Originally from the east coast, she has traveled extensively in the US and overseas. Sarah has many interests but her family is her primary joy.
Aimee Steinly - Nurse Practitioner
Aimee has been a nurse practitioner since 2018 in gastroenterology and colorectal surgery. She is skilled in minor procedures and ablative therapies. Prior to finishing her doctorate degree at the University of Utah, she was a registered nurse for 14 years and has worked in many areas of care including plastics/aesthetics. Aimee has always had a passion for natural medicine and integrates this into her daily practice. In her off time she loves to travel, walk her two dogs, make fun memories with her son, attend live music and socialize with friends/family.
Jacqueline Smithers, APRN
Jacqueline Smithers joins Cameron Wellness and Spa after 23 years of private practice at Women’s Health Services, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. After working as a solo business owner and provider, Jacqueline is looking forward to joining a group practice with similar ideals.
Jacqueline’s background has been mostly in the care of women, both primary care and OB/Gyn. She also enjoys working in nutrition and natural complementary care. Her motto has always been “Helping Women Every Age and Every Stage.” She is an advocate for women in business, women in healthcare, and health and wellness answers that are individualized for each patient. She has been a part of several overseas Humanitarian efforts for women and children’s health as well.
Not a native, but calling Utah home after 30 years, Jacqueline enjoys all the Utah outdoors have to offer. Her hobbies include gardening, cycling, hiking and adventures with her Labrador Retriever. As her children are grown and busy in own their lives, she and her husband look forward to grandchildren and travel.
Sally Firmage - Licensed Acupuncturist
As a native of Salt Lake City, UT, Sally obtained her bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Utah. She graduated from Awakening Spirit Massage School in 1998 before earning her master's degree in traditional Chinese medicine from Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, CA. In 2016, she completed her yoga teacher training through In Body Academy in Salt Lake City. She has also studied therapeutic touch, Jin Shin Jyutsu, and craniosacral therapy along with completing a one-year internship in Yin Tuina. In addition to her acupuncture practice, she teaches nutrition, shiatsu, pathology, and anatomy/physiology at Myotherapy College of Utah. She also speaks and teaches on topics related to personal wellness, spirituality, and health as a fundamental birthright.
As a licensed acupuncturist at Cameron Wellness and Spa, Sally focuses on holistic healing with a particular interest in emotional balancing for stress, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and trauma recovery. She is also an expert in women’s health, digestive issues, and pain. Sally is dedicated to fostering a safe environment where she welcomes people of all races, genders, religions, and sexual orientations.
